Schoology - Accessing your Cengage E-textbook (Students)

This article will show you how to gain access to your Cengage materials.
  1. In the Course Work folder, click the Textbook Activation Link.

    The Course Work Folder. Textbook Activation Link is the first option. Exact location may vary based on course.

  2. On the Textbook Activation Link screen, click the green View Course Materials button.

  3. Copy the Publisher Access Code on the Cengage Unlimited screen.

    The Publisher Access Code screen. The access code is a 14-character string of capital letters and numbers.

  4. Navigate back to the Course Work folder.
  5. Click the Cengage Materials link. This may also be named MindTap Course Work or Cengage Course Work.
  6. Enter your SWTC email and password, then click Create Account.

  7. Click Register Access Code Note: Your book may have a different title.

  8. On the Register an Access Code dialog box, paste the code from Step 3 and click Register.

NOTE: Your Instructor may have different places to access materials. If you are unable to find the link please contact your instructor for directions on how to use the materials for your specific course.
