Readspeaker - Activating Readspeaker

This article demonstrates how to activate Readspeaker.
ReadSpeaker is a web-based tool that students/staff can access free. It is used it to read web pages, PDFs, Word documents, Google documents, and more.
 
Once your account has been activated (Step 3), the ReadSpeaker website is used to access Readspeaker tools.
 
  1. Access a Schoology course and locate the Student and Faculty Resources folder. Inside this folder, open the Readspeaker (Text to Speech Software) folder and click the Readspeaker Activation link.
    • FACULTY: If this folder is not in your course, it can be added as part of the SWTC Standard Template.
    • STUDENTS: If this folder is not in your course, contact your instructor to request it be added.

  2. Click Accept on the ReadSpeaker Activation page to accept cookies from the ReadSpeaker website.

  3. Read the Privacy Update and Consent Form, then click I accept the terms button.

  4. ReadSpeaker has now been activated.

    The Welcome to ReadSpeaker TextAid screen. Reaching this screen confirms that ReadSpeaker has been activated.
