If you have a message you would like to send to the whole class you can use the Updates tool. The advantage to this tool is it will send a notification in Schoology and if the student has their account set up properly, an email will alert them as well.

1. Go into the Course you wish to send the update from.
2. Click the Updates in the left pane.

3. Type in your Message.
4. Click Post when done.
