WIDS - Copy A Syllabus

Using the new layout of WIDS to Copy a Syllabus. Note: You will need proper permissions to view certain WIDS projects.
*This article assumes that you have been given proper permissions in WIDS to copy a syllabus. If you cannot find the features outlined in this article, please create a Help Desk ticket to request permission.

Copying Your Own Syllabus

  1. From the home screen, click the three dots at the end of the syllabus row.
  2. Select Copy Syllabus.
    • Note: Changes to course information and custom fields will be updated automatically.

  3. Enter the Syllabus Name, Term, Year, Start Date and End Date.

  4. Click Add.

Copying Someone Else’s Syllabus

  1. Search for the course using the search box at the top of the screen.
  2. Find the course whose syllabus you'd like to copy in the search results box and click once on the course number.

  3. Find the list of potential syllabi for copy in the bottom grid.
  4. Click the three dots a to the right of the syllabus you'd like to copy.
  5. Select Copy Syllabus from the drop down menu. WIDS will make a copy of the syllabus, replacing your instructor information.
