Uploading a Youtube Video and Submitting it as a Schoology Assignment (Students)

This article will show students how to upload a youtube video and submit it to Schoology.
Submitting a video to Schoology is a multistep process, including:
  1. Uploading a video to Youtube
  2. Submitting the YouTube video link to a Schoology assignment.
This article assumes that you have downloaded the YouTube mobile app on your device. 

Upload a Video to Youtube

Follow the instructions linked below to record and upload a video to YouTube depending on your type of mobile device.

Submit a YouTube Video to Schoology

  1. Access a course in Schoology and click on the name of the assignment you need to submit a YouTube video link to.

  2. Click the Submit Assignment button on the right-side of the screen.

  3. In the Create dialog box, click the Create tab.
  4. In the Create tab, click the Link icon (looks like interlocked chain links) at the top of the rich content editor.

  5. In the Insert/Edit Link dialog box, paste the URL of the YouTube video you'd like to submit to the assignment in the Link/URL field, then click the Insert button.

  6. You will be returned to the Create dialog box. Click the Submit button.
