Uploading a Youtube Video and Submitting it as a Schoology Assignment (Students)
This article will show students how to upload a youtube video and submit it to Schoology.
Submitting a Video to Schoology is a two step process. First you will have to Upload the video to Youtube and secondly Submit it as a Schoology Assignment. This article assumes that you have downloaded the App on your device. Download Directions.
Upload a Video to Youtube
1. Click the Camera Icon in upper right hand corner
2. Choose Upload video
3. Select File
4. Locate the file on your device
5. In the Title box, change the name of the video and click Next
6. Click Next again
7. Set Visibility to Unlisted and click Save. (Public will people search for it on Youtube)
8. Wait for video to process
9. Once it’s processed, click the three dots next to the video and choose Get shareable link
2. Choose Upload video
3. Select File
4. Locate the file on your device
5. In the Title box, change the name of the video and click Next
6. Click Next again
7. Set Visibility to Unlisted and click Save. (Public will people search for it on Youtube)
8. Wait for video to process
9. Once it’s processed, click the three dots next to the video and choose Get shareable link
Submit a Youtube Video to Schoology
1. Click on the Name of the Assignment
2. Click Submit Assignment (Right Side)
3. Click Create Tab
4. Choose Link
5. Paste Video URL into Link/URL and Title, then Insert
6. Click Submit
