Schoology - Notifications in Schoology

This article talks about notifications in Schoology.

Schoology notifications can be customized at an account level. Customizing notifications at this level will apply to all courses and groups a user is currently a member of.

Customizing Notifications (Account Level)

  1. Click the arrow next to your name and profile picture in the upper right corner of the window.
  2. Click Settings from the drop-down menu.

  1. Click the Notifications tab and customize notification settings to your liking.

  2. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page when you are finished customizing notification settings.

Enabling Text Message Notifications

In addition to customizing notification settings, you have the ability to enable text message notifications. If you would receive a text message whenever you receive a new Schoology notification

  1. Click the Send notifications to your phone via text message button on the right side of the screen.

  2. In the Text Message Settings dialog box, enter your cell number, country and carrier information. When complete, click the Set Mobile button.

    NOTE: Enabling text message notifications is optional.
