Activating your Cengage Course Materials (Cengage Only)
This article shows you how to activate your Cengage E-book inside of Schoology. As a note this is only for E-books that students purchase a code from the Southwest Tech bookstore and the instructor has added it to the Schoology course.
Note: This is for Activating your textbook only, depending on your instructor you may have different ways to use your textbook in your class. Common places are at the top of the Course Work folder (Cengage Materials seen below) and in each individual lecture folder through out the course. If you are unsure, please ask your Instructor.
1. Click on the Cengage Materials link in your Course Work Folder
2. Create an Account (Or login if you already have one)
3. Click Access My Course (Right Side)
4. Choose Subscribe Now (Right Side)
5. Click Register another course or product
6. Enter in your Code (purchased from Bookstore)
NOTE: If you have multiple classes a semester with Cengage, you should only Register Once
7. You should receive a “Congratulations you have successfully registered your product
8. X out to View your Materials
